With the holidays approaching and the price of gas on the rise, I have found it even more important to find those deals and be more aware of the discounts online and bargains available. I'd rather do a little research to save that extra $5-$10 on an item rather than making the purchase impulsively and later finding out that I could have gotten it on sale somewhere else.
Every day I try to find at least one bargain that is worth sharing with others. And, when I get an inquiry about a certain item I purchase, I find myself responding with the details. I can never just answer with a polite, "thank you". I find myself going into extreme detail in regards to my purchase.
"Hey Amber, I like your purse! Is it new?" My response, "Oh, thanks, I got it at Macy's for 40% off! They had a huge sale this last weekend and if you bring in your flier coupon you get an additional 20% off the original 20% off sale they are having!" "Oh, and in addition, I strolled down to JCPenney's and got this cool wallet for $3! Can you believe it?"
I find myself more than excited to share the what, where, when, and the how's of my shopping experience and bargains that are found. I am what you call a "proud bargain shopper".
So, it's that time of year where I especially keep my eyes peeled and my ears open. It's time to shop and the bargains are coming earlier!
